A horrifically violent and crude movie that should never have been made.

What do you do when your only child falls in love with a maniac and will not heed your advise to stay away from him?

That's the predicament Dr Ranveer Malhotra (Amitabh Bachchan) finds himself in when his only daughter Ria (Bipasha Basu) falls for the violent Aryan Trivedi (John Abraham).

In Aryan Trivedi, Ranveer Malhotra faces a maniacal opponent who is also very cunning and manipulative.

Amitabh puts in a fine performance as the devoted father fighting the battle of his life to save his daughter.

John Abraham comes across as more crude and garish than maniacal in his actions.

Subtlety, it seems, is not director Vikram Bhatt's forte.

Bipasha Basu - wholly inadequate as Ria - needs to get back to acting school soon.

The songs are as bad as the rest of the movie. - Copyright SearchIndia.com.
