Indian newspapers are full of reports that North Indians (particularly those from the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar) in Mumbai are being attacked by supporters of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, a regional political party founded by Raj Thackeray in Maharashtra.
Living in USA, we’re no strangers to anti-immigrant sentiments.
But, who’d have thought Indians in India would face the wrath of anti-immigrant goons in India.
This is beyond bizarre.
Guess, such things can happen only in India.

Why is the entire political, Military and judicial mechanisms doing nothing to prevent these guys BJP and its affiliates who are hell bent on destroying the secularity of the Indian State?
Whereas, when it comes to prevention of terrorism the entire mechanism energises to arrest even to the extent of netting anyone in contact for whatever reasons with the suspects.
Are not these guys are terrorists too? They terrorise anybody whom they feel is standing in their path towards stupidity.
Where will this place India in its aspiration to become a “Superpower” status (“Wallarasu”) popular with Tamil Cinema?

That’s only partially correct.
Indian security forces are hardly as energetic as would seem.
The arrests usually happen after the incidents. We think India lacks strong internal and external intelligence capabilities.
Plus, we think India is a soft state.
We need India to prevail over all problems and come out victorious. The minorities in Sri Lanka looks upto India for help and protection then and now.
