Balls, Thackeray Welcomes Hindu Terrorists

We’ve always believed that rabble-rouser extraordinaire and Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray had one screw loose in his head.

But we were wrong – Bal Thackeray has several screws loose.

In what is a clear call to violence, Thackeray has stirred a hornet’s nest by welcoming Hindu terrorists in an interview with the party’s rag Saamna.

As if India doesn’t have enough problems already.

In remarks that have been reproduced in the Hindustan Times and elsewhere, the Hindu bigot Thackeray said:

I want the Hindus to produce terrorists. That would be the way to tackle present situation.

Will someone please throw this crackpot into jail?

There’s no need for Hindus to kiss the derrieres of minorities in India but at the same time there’s no need to provoke them either with inflammatory remarks.

They’re going international with their killing projects and this will give you some idea of their newest link with the Sri Lankan terrorists under guise of protecting hindu places of worship in Sri Lanka.

    Religious war????

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

It’s be nice if all temples, mosques, churches, synagogues et al are destroyed not just in Sri Lanka but elsewhere too.

We think all religion is hooey, unadulterated nonsense for weaklings.

SI : There’s no need for Hindus to kiss the derrieres of minorities in India but at the same time there’s no need to provoke them either with inflammatory remarks.

True … Minorities are not inflammed by Bal Thackeray ..but by the clarion call of Allah / Mullahs to do Jihad and kill Infidels …

We need parties like Shiv Sena and BJP to keep these Jihadi’s under check ….Bal Thackeray is right in his statement ….We need people who will give these Muslims a taste of thier own medicine ….

Since the Govt has willingly failed in the endeavour to protect people ….people have to do it themselves ….

There is nothing like right and wrong here ….its the need of the hour and not driven by any ideology ….but purely driven by need for self preservation ……..once the need ceases to exists ….these people will also stop doing what they are doing …

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: Minorities are not inflammed by Bal Thackeray

We disagree. Crackpots like Thackerays increase the insecurities of minorities.

    2. You write: There is nothing like right and wrong here ….its the need of the hour and not driven by any ideology ….but purely driven by need for self preservation ……..once the need ceases to exists ….these people will also stop doing what they are doing …

Not convinced Hindu violence is the appropriate response to violence from other communities. Once the communal genie is unleashed (as it already is to some extent), it’s difficult to put the cork back.

Let’s hope for a worldwide tsunami to wipe out everything. Then the evolution will begin once again right from the start.

How tsunami will hear our voices???? Any mode of communication available…???

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

You write: Let’s hope for a worldwide tsunami to wipe out everything.

    No, no. Just religion.

We don’t want any more tsunamis. We want our Tabus, Halle Berrys & Charlize Therons intact.

I think, people should check their thinking pattern first and track the crack spots and do a study to do something good for the humanity.

Human beings are fools, always, and forever. Check the following article.

    A Deadly Philosophy
    http://www.psychologicalscience.org/onlyhuman/2008/04/deadly-philosophy.cfm

    Excerpts:
“Humans are the only species that systematically murders its own for ideological reasons. More than 50 million people were victims of mass murder in the 20th century, making it the deadliest century on record.

Some of these deaths had to do with land and water and such, but most did not. Most were over philosophy. Why would this be? Philosophy is not threatening in any literal sense; it can’t maim or make you die, even when it’s very different from your view. Psychologists are very interested in this paradox: Why is philosophy—or worldview, or ideology—so threatening? ….

The problem occurs when our carefully constructed philosophy is threatened. And the greatest threat to a belief system is, well, an alternative belief system. To put it bluntly, your unfamiliar worldview makes me keenly aware of my mortality; it threatens my very existence. So why shouldn’t I wish you dead? Philosophy is personal.”

I believe that Thackeray Saab is correct. I lived in Mumbai city during 93 blasts, truth is more than thousand people killed. After that many attacks on mumbai and all over india till date. All these attacks originated from Pakistan. Now Pakistans response to act on groups involved in mumbai attack is a mockery. I am sure this is the time India also should allow great hindu leaders like Thackeray to protect India. I really admire Thackeray Saab. Jai Maharastra!

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    Weak argument.

By your arguments, Jews should kill all Germans, Americans should kill all Saudis (most 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia), Indians should kill all Sri Lankans (because of Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination by LTTE)….

Better course of action, change your leaders in the elections.

Folks like Thackeray only make a bad situation worse.

  6. shuaib68   December 25, 2008 at 1:32 am

What I’m always trying to say is that, we should put HUMAN BEINGS to rule the humans, not the animals hell bent on murdering the other to uphold his deadly philosophy.

After all those murders in the history, did their future generations of those who cimmited these crimes in order to bri ng happiness to their lots, live happliy ever after????

They have to struggle forever. Pharoah thought that killing the newly borns will prevent the coming of an antagonist in the Jews. Where is he now? Where are his people he strived hard to protect? Only his tombs remains as a reminder of his follies. He was a super power at that time with a vast majoritarian support.

Do we learn lessons???? We will not. So, let the killing and counter killings happen until they see is enough. When one get tired of killing and stops to take a rest, the other starts from that point to get the revenge.

When you look at a baby in it’s mother’s hands. Do they see this innocent child will one day be a mass murderers who kill innocents to protect oneself from another’s ideology?

Killing an innocent human being is itself TERRORISM. And it is no different from the labeled one or the unlabled one by the western media, they all do the same thing-KILLING for Ideology, Philosophy, or world view reasons.

Srinivas and IAmAnIdiot (i don’t disagree with what you are), it is because of people like you that these bigots, whether it is bal thackerey or the so-called islamic jihadis, all of them are still surviving and we cannot do anything about them. Are you all fools?

What do you think will happen to these bigots? absolutely nothing. When everyone’s house is burning, they will go laughing to their warm beds in the night fully drunk with the knowledge that they have added some more fools like you into their coterie and you will shed your worthless blood for them.

We already have a hell lot of problems in our country, from acute poverty to disgusting corruption, the list is endless. We dont need another “chooth” like you or Bal Thackerey or the mullahs to spoil things any further. Do something for deprived people. Start spreading love rather than wasting your time hating others. Btw, you sound no different from the people that you hate in the first place!!

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

  8. joeantony   December 26, 2008 at 1:28 am

Ah, instead of cleaning the shit he (bal thakarey) wants a competitive shit to make it stink more. It’s shocking to see the commets of some educated people (am assuming so as they have reached here to write some comments) leave comments supporting this idiot. Education should have given rationale to distinguish between good and bad, ah. I dont know what stops the government to put these morons like bals, rajs and uddavs in jail.

Hindu terrorism will be the worst can happen to the great religion of hinduism. Hindu religion doesn’t have any administrative systems, anyone can inject their own idelogy into it. Like they injected the theory of Varna and brought discriminations among human beings by their birth. So no wonder shiv sena or bjp can take hinduism as their trump card to getting power (I used to tell my friends funnily that if recession prolongs I would make my name antonyanandha and settle in a matt or kudil giving lectures of hinduism 🙂 ). Hindu people should first form a religious order and it should do the religious services and they don’t have to depend on morons like bal to protect hinduism.

whysoserious : We already have a hell lot of problems in our country, from acute poverty to disgusting corruption, the list is endless. We dont need another “chooth” like you or Bal Thackerey or the mullahs to spoil things any further.

Things are already spoilt …we need people to clean up this mess of terrorism ….since govt refuses to do it ….some have taken it upon themselves ….and we welcome them ….

America Attacked Afghanistan and Iraq ….what did India Do ????? ….why ? …because”Chooth’s” like you are sitting there in the Govt … who have this Dhimmi attitude and refuse to act even after repeated provocations …..so if govt fails …people have to do it …as simple as that …

Problems with fools like you is that ….you dont have any solution to the problem …. only bashan ….which does not result in any change at the ground level … neither are you living in an envt wherein such things threaten you life ….if you had experienced Mumbai Blasts or Riots first hand then you would know …..

Your advice and methods to tackle this issue have been followed for the past 50 yrs (after Independance ) ….what’s the result ??? … Things have only gone worse ….now it calls for a diff approach

I am a practical guy and not ideology driven ….when a solution has failed …..you junk it and try a new approach …. you dont keep harping on the same ….even after its failure is proved

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

(We changed Iran to Iraq in your above comment because that’s probably what you meant.)

You write: America Attacked Afghanistan and Iraq

Attacking Afghanistan was justified given all the training camps during the Taliban days but Iraq is a total disaster. A Wrong war that has unjustifiably cost so many lives and so many billions. The only benefeciary is our military-industrial complex.

This should serve as a warning to hot-headed folks who think violence (in the first place or as retaliation) is the perfect solution.

Often in such aggressive environments, the Law of Unintended Consequences comes into play.

People get cocky and make horrendous mistakes like our leaders did with Iraq & the non-existent WMD (weapons of mass destruction).

No, we are not advocating inaction but allowing leaders like Thackeray to call for ‘Hindu terrorists’ is a recipe for bigger disasters.

  10. raks1991   December 26, 2008 at 7:26 pm

    Religion,root of all evil.

The fanatics do anything to please their imaginary friend.

Once religion is wiped out, three fourths of the problems will be solved.

The other problems include American invasion and the new world order.

Anyways America has bigger problems now with no justification for the invasion of Iraq.

I strongly agree with the conspiracy theorists that the nothing is more profitable to the banks like war. America is heading towards Fascism.

Once they implant microchips in you, you’ll stop worrying about Bal Thackeray (Who is a Hindu fanatic and a terrorist anyways). There is so much dirt behind the scenes in America like nowhere else.Bal Thakeray is a problem but there are problems million times bigger than this fanatic and his small fundamentalist army.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: nothing is more profitable to the banks like war

    Most likely true.

BTW, Indians are at the helm of one of the world’s largest banks – Vikram Pandit of Citigroup.

    2. You write: America is heading towards Fascism.

    We doubt it.

  11. raks1991   December 26, 2008 at 7:49 pm

I doubt Vikram Pandit of Citigroup has anything to do with the ulterior motives of the bank.He would just be a puppet at the hand of it’s owners.
The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.”

Yeah, you must think about it. Good Presidents like JFK are assassinated and some random fuck gets sentenced for that.

America in no way is cleaner than India.

American movies are much cleaner though.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

You write above: America in no way is cleaner than India.

    Yes and no.

Corruption at higher levels – yes. But the common man/woman does not encounter corruption in the day-to-day business of life unlike in India.

We’ve started a business, purchased a home, got driving licenses in several states over so many years, registered different cars over so many years, got many road-tests for cars, dealt with multiple government agencies in different states for different reasons….. & never once faced any demand for money in any of the states we lived in. You can’t say the same about India.

  13. shuaib68   December 27, 2008 at 3:07 am

This article below could give us some sort of an idea of the futility of senseless war undertaken by many groups and govts. The loss of lives and the how some people were made to join the other groups and forces on taking revenge and hatredness.

The story is about a captured (Injured) LTTE member, a girl of 18 and her ordeals and devastation befell on her family and being in the front of an ongoing and never ending war in Sri Lanka.

Eelam war as seen by ‘Lieutenant’ Subramaniam Priya
    http://www.dailymirror.lk/DM_BLOG/Sections/frmNewsDetailView.aspx?ARTID=36218

“She then reached under her pillow and withdrew a small exercise book which contained poems she had written. She read them to me while our translator decoded it for us. She has written about the futility of war. How no one will be able to attain victory as this is a worthless cause. “There can only be one ruler. One government,” she says, “either a Sinhalese President or Prabhakaran; but not both.” Her intelligence overwhelms us. She continues, “All men and women have the same blood. It’s red blood that flows in our veins. Killing another is killing yourself. So how can one win over another’s death?” she questions. “We will all die if this war continues.”

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

The article in the link above could be Sri Lankan Army propaganda.

The problem is in the fog of war, it’s impossible to say with certainty who’s speaking the truth.

Truth, as they say, is the first casualty in war.

SRINIVAS Said: True … Minorities are not inflammed by Bal Thackeray

Dude, if you knew what was his clarion calls during the 1970’s, you’d realize you are so wrong. Much of Shiv Sena’s agitation during the 70’s was against Tamil immigrants. They decided to change their focus with changing times…much like the U.S. Government does in picking a new “poochaandi” (ghoul) to “drive away from the face of the earth.”

May be you ought to have faced the brunt of demeaning slogans like “Lungi hataao, pungi bajaao” (drive the “lungi” wearing Southies out) and “Yendu Gundu” (a slogan made to mock the way Tamil is spoken), to know what xenophobes the Thackerays are.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

With crackpot xenophobes today it’s South Indians or Tamils, tomorrow it’s Muslims, the day after it’s Biharis and three days later it’s you. Yes, you whatever religion, caste or linguistic group you belong to (as long as it’s not the majority sect).

And to all those who think it’s OK to treat Muslims like scum the same logic applies. If you turn a nelson’s eye when one minority is treated badly today, tomorrow the bells will toll for thee.

  15. SRINIVAS   December 29, 2008 at 12:17 am

StrYngLad74 : Dude, if you knew what was his clarion calls during the 1970’s, you’d realize you are so wrong.

Agreed ..but lets be practical …can we expect to live in a world or country which will have no problems whatsoever … India is multicultural and ethnic tensions are bound to be there …But to what extent and how much ? …what are the reasons ? ….Can they be solved ?

Did Shiv Sena carry on this campaign to such a extent that South Indians were forced to leave Mumbai …or were there incidents of large scale violence …any bomb blasts ??? ….

I can also add Kannadiga parties considering the anti-tamil riots over Cauvery or Dravidian PArties of Tamil Nadu …since they were responsible for Tamil Brahmins leaving TN

I would say PDP , NC , Hurriyat Conference , Congress in KAshmir …who supported ethnic cleasing of Pandits … Congress which killed Sikhs (considering that they proped up Bindrawale to conter AKalis) …..Communists and Congress who have encouraged large scale migration from Bangladesh which has resulted in the Assam Problem …as greater threats to the country …

Understand this …all the above parties have indulged in some form of ethnic cleansing or the other …..and they all are ” SECULAR” ….

HEre we are talking about joining hands and tackling external aggression as one country …and not using our internal differences as a excuse to not join together …

Let me put it this way — IF Shiv Sena pursues its anti – south policy ..i will oppose it …but when it comes to Muslims / Pakistan …we must join hands

SI : And to all those who think it’s OK to treat Muslims like scum the same logic applies. If you turn a nelson’s eye when one minority is treated badly today, tomorrow the bells will toll for thee.

Muslims were not treated like Scum …hence we gave them Pakistan …. now they refuse to behave in any other way than that which represents “SCUM” … so we have to treat them like one …

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Sometimes we think the role of Dravidian parties in migration of Tamil Brahmins is exaggerated.

The restless Tamil Brahmins have been moving hither & thither for decades before these Dravidian elements came to the fore. You can find some of them in Delhi, some of them in Karnataka…many of these folks are not recent migrants (although you have recent migrants too) but have been there for a long time.

Similarly there are Kannadiga Brahmins in Tanjore district who have been there for aeons.

It seems Brahmins have a wanderlust because of the education. This wanderlust likely pre-existed the Dravidian parties and may have only slightly intensified after their arrival. One reads of Tamil Brahmins working in far corners of the country (like for example Subramanya Chandrasekhar’s father in what is today a part of Pakistan).

    TUCK FHAKAREY.

India is NOT a hindu nation. Why don’t you guys understan?

  17. SRINIVAS   December 30, 2008 at 6:56 am

SI : Sometimes we think the role of Dravidian parties in migration of Tamil Brahmins is exaggerated.

What is exaggerated is the role of Dravidian Parties in bringing about social justice in TN

Non-Brahmins travelled as far as Singapore , Malayasia, Burma, Sri Lanka etc ….for jobs …same was the case with Brahmins … and many other communities in the world ….it was voluntary on the part of few people

…but there is a difference between creating a situation wherein they have to leave and they going on their own ….

Land for the tiller … 69 % reservations in Educational Institutions …Virtually no govt jobs … Almost zero political representation … yet they have a problem ????

Did they practice what they preach ????

Did the Dravidian parties ensure that other castes give their land …. business is dominated by Chettiars …did they ensure equal distribution of the same ….. all small Businesses are dominated by Nadar’s …they want reservation in jobs …did they give the same to others in Business ??? ….

Let’s understand this …A human being will do some job or the other (maybe govt , Private) or say he is self employed to survive … Dravidian Parties took a count of Govt Jobs and representation in Political parties ….conviniently leaving out all those areas wherein they dominated ….

Casteism as such is practised by all proponents of Dravidian ideology and thier supporters … Ask a Dalit and he will tell you about a Thevar / Gounder / NAdar – who get violent with these Dalits …

Remember the story of Periyar … he felt bad that his father a rich Naicker was respected less than a Brahmin … he did not feel bad over the way the NAickers treated lower castes (often violently) …did he take up cudgels against his own caste members — in such a way …which he did against Brahmins ….Which Dravidian ideolouge has done that???
    and to what extent ????

Tamils suffered in Sri Lanka ? Why ? ..their representation was disproportionate to their numbers compared to Sinhalese …. Sinhalese hit back once the British left ….. Did the Dravidian ideolouges support the Sinhalese or the TAMILS ? …. See when they get a taste or thier own medicine …how they react ?? ….what about numbers now ????

My support has and is always with SL Tamils …which is consistent with my stand that merit, Capability should be counted and respected and not Caste or Language ….. you want to come up …..compete, work hard …dont use a caste certificate ….

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write above: Capability should be counted and respected and not Caste or Language ….. you want to come up …..compete, work hard …dont use a caste certificate.

The argument that proponents of affirmative action (or reservation as they call it in India) put forth is that it compensates for past discrimination and creates a level playing field.

    2. You write: Non-Brahmins travelled as far as Singapore , Malayasia, Burma, Sri Lanka etc ….for jobs …same was the case with Brahmins …

True. One example, if you remember George Orwell in Burmese Days writes about a Tamil doctor Veeraswami in Burma.

    3. From our days in Tamil Nadu, we remember that Brahmins tend to be very clannish in their social interactions.

We still remember our neighborhood Tamil Brahmin pattis with their heads shaved, wearing those mud color saris tied in a different way, many with poor vision (probably because of cataract, slow gait… If Agraharams still exist in Mayavaram or Kumbakonam, it’d be nice to live there.

The New York Times on Sunday reviewed a book partly about a Brahmin girl Sivakami who marries at 10, mother at 14 and a widow at 18 – The Toss of a Lemon by Padma Viswanathan. Plan to read it soon.

But it’s a hard road for the current generation of Brahmins.

Brahmin girls, particularly Tamil Brahmin girls, are pretty though. 😉

Hence Hail Thackeray and F*** You

  19. bollywood_basher   December 30, 2008 at 3:34 pm

Senior Thackeray had gone nuts long back, nobody except Hindu fanatics takes his view seriously.

The much bigger problem is his nephew who has replaced him and is few steps ahead. He (Raj Thackeray) is desperately trying to do a “Narendra Modi/Hitler”. Hitler must be their idol.

Raj Thackeray is growing day by day and the Maharashtra government has plainly refused to investigate his antics.

Maharashtra Politicians are shying away from calling a spade a spade, much like their Pakistani counterparts these days.
