Aamir songs are fabulous. If the movie is 75% as good as the songs, it will be worth watching.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

BTW, is there a connection between Aamir and the filipino film Cavite ?

    Just watched Amexicano. Not bad.

I am glad you chose “A wednesday’ and “Mithya” to watch. both are great movies . ranvir shorey has given a career best performance in mithya. enjoy !!

atlast glad to see usual suspects on that list. A wednesday a classic.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

We have the Usual Suspects DVD with us now…but alas there are only 24 hours in a day. πŸ™

don’t know about mithya bu wednesday is a very good movie

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Regarding Mithya, we’ll know in a few days. It’s received favorable reviews in some quarters.

Mithya is good, aamir is better….it was in news that aamir was ‘inspired’ by cavite, but there were conclusive reports suggesting that Aamir’s script had been registered earlier than cavite…….I was hugely disappointed after watching ‘usual suspects’,because a bollywood film ‘dus’ had stolen the script and I had seen dus earlier….so there was no suspense to be enjoyed while watching usual suspects…..

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

You write above: Mithya is good, aamir is better….

We’ll try to watch Aamir too. We are looking forward to seeing what all the hullabaloo about F.R.I.E.N.D.S was.

I bet, you r gonna like ‘the usual suspects’.

regarding the Jen’s nipples.. don’t be too excited.. No nipslips .. just pokies.. I was talking about her ever-erect hard nipples that seemed to be poking through her shirt all the time.. If you query for “Jennifer Aniston’s nipples” you’d get pages of discussions and pictures.

Agree that she was ordinary looking. Can’t believe that Pitt’s taste devolved over the years from the gorgeous Paltrow to Aniston to eww… Jolie.

Now “Shakespeare in Love” is one movie you shouldn’t miss.. For one, it undeservedly won 7 oscars (like Slumdog is going to win).. and the bigger reason is that it is Paltrow’s best topless scenes.. SI, if your wife(or husband??) catches you ogling at Paltrow’s breasts (which are smaller than Asin’s, but I love ’em), you can always claim that you were reviewing a multi-oscar winner closely.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

To play on a James Bondian phrase, we like our boobies shaken, not stared.

With their mustard seeds (by our reckoning), Paltrow and Asin will have a hard time accomplishing that shakin feat without doing a 90-degree pirouette. Well, maybe a sloooow action replay will help. πŸ˜‰

Yes, we’ll watch Shakespeare in Love shortly.

  8. Harry Butt   February 13, 2009 at 10:23 am

shaken, not stared.. very funny.. being a pure indian, I’ll use it somewhere and not give you credit. If you catch me doing that, you may call me a MC Chor, but my “erumma thOl” shield will protect me.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Off-topic – no breakfast like Idli+Sambar. At peace with the world now. πŸ™‚

(We’ve always wondered…what time would show up on the SI posts and comments on Indian PCs…Is it Eastern Time always or local time i.e. IST. For instance, the time on the above comment reads 10:23 AM and now it’s 10:34 AM U.S. Eastern Time now.)

  9. Harry Butt   February 13, 2009 at 12:32 pm

Timestamps will be the same on all PCs.. it is just plain html, right.. not some fancy dynamic stuff.

Do you have the ULTRA grinder for idlis?

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

No, we do not have the Ultra Idli Grinder. We use Priya Mix & mix that with another mix.

One of these days, we’ll get a grinder.

Watching “Reign Over Me”.. being a fan of both Cheadle and Sandler, I am lovving it.

    SearchIndia.com Responds (via iPhone):

Waiting for Billu Barber to start.

Watching the stupid coco-cola ad not the cow-ka-cola ad

  11. Harry Butt   February 13, 2009 at 4:41 pm

thumbs down to Billu, I suppose. Worse than Kusulan??

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Please read the Billu Barber Review here.

The “perfect” Tamil movie you’re looking for is Kutty directed by Janaki Vishwanathan.

Kutty portrays child labour and child trafficing, the movie truely touched my heart.

The ending sequence gives you a long lasting impact.

Just like Naan Kadavul and Slumdog Millionaire, Kutty also illustrates the harsh, real reality!

Bidding bye, hoping that you would take this suggestion into consideration. Thanks.

    Keep up the good work!

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately, Netflix does not have Kutty. So, it’s unlikely we’ll be able to see it any time soon.
