Our favorite set-top box Roku got better today.
Amazon Video on Demand has come to Roku, which means we can rent or buy 40,000 movies/TV programs online from Amazon.com and watch it on our television set via streaming through a high-speed Internet connection.
We just checked our $99 Roku box but didn’t find the box updated yet to access Amazon Video on Demand. Roku says that over the course of the next week, current Roku customers will get the free software update.
The first movie we plan to watch on Roku-Amazon is a Hebrew movie – Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi.
Roku already lets us stream movies from Netflix.
