I dont know if you have heard Azhagae Azhagu from Raajaparvai yet again. , wonderful song.

Bang on with Enna Sattham from punnagai mannan. I remember Kavignar Vaali telling that in all the songs he has penned lyrics for, this one was the most melodious and best picturized.

Albeit recent, Swaasame from Thenali is also a favorite.

Same with Isaiyil Thodangudhamma from Hey Ram- should go down as one of the best compositions(dunno if it was picturized only on Kamal, though) Responds:

Yes, Azhagae Azhagu is a nice one.

Thenali is stolen shit (Bill Murray’s What about Bob)

Thevar Magan is one more which comes to my mind ….

Thoongathey Thambi Thoongathey …..forgot the movie ….

    Virumaandi is one more …

    Michael Madan Kamarajan ….

Kamal dominates every frame of his movies ….so songs dont get popular …..even otherwise ….generally his movies dont have good songs ….unlike others … Responds:

You write above: generally his movies dont have good songs ….unlike others …

Forget us…we doubt you’ll have even other people agreeing with you here.

As you say, Kamal does tend to dominate every frame of his movies. Still, some actors like Pasupathy went on to eat Kamal’s lunch (example: Virumandi).

    Ah, what lyrics…

    Kanden adi Kashmir Roja
    Vanden adi Kabul Raja
    En paer thaan Abdul Kaja
