Every entrepreneur is a Steve Jobs wannabe. I was as guilty of that as anybody.
- Netflix CEO Reed Hastings on his abandoned attempts to build a hardware box to let subscribers watch movies online. (By the way, one of the conference rooms in Netflix’ headquarters is called Paheli, after the Shahrukh Khan-Rani Mukerji Bollywood movie.) Source: Wall Street Journal, June 23, 2009.
Oh, Are there conference rooms which are called – ‘Villu’, ‘Aadhi’, ‘Aegan’, ‘Thoranai’, etc?

Probably not (that’s why Netflix’ stock is still trading at around $40 in a down market).
But when Reed Hastings invites us to the Netflix HQ, we’ll be sure to check if there are toilets named Villu, Aegan, Thoranai…
Anyway, there’s some hope for Kollywood because Vijay is said to be contemplating an entry into the political arena, which will presumably mean less time for movies.
