A long time joke came to my mind about the Tamil opposition leader of ’77 parliament…

There was a male teacher in our school who used to be a jovial person. Once, he asked us “Do you know who kept the name for Mr. Amirthalingam?” We said no. Then he said, it was his wife you dumbos. (haa, haa)

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Amirthalingam – another victim of LTTE. 🙁

  5. shuaib68   November 17, 2009 at 9:40 am

…so, it could be “To Hit the Orgasm, try – Amirthalingam”

  6. Vetti Jijaji   November 17, 2009 at 10:18 am

    Kamadhenu – prostitute?

I didn’t get the Amirthalingam joke..

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. We’ve modified your suggestion and added them.

    Milkmaid — Kamadhenu

    2. Guess Shuaib was talking of the ‘Amrit’ that comes out of the Lingam!

  7. Vetti Jijaji   November 17, 2009 at 10:22 am

oh ok.. got amirthalingam now.. my teachers were never this dirty.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

One of our science teachers was a Kamadhenu (milkmaid). 😉

  8. shuaib68   November 17, 2009 at 1:07 pm

Vetti: my teachers were never this dirty…

I also didn’t get it then. It was very lately that I came to know about the real meaning of it. Maybe, after about 5-6 years later when I related it to a “expert” (a guy of my age, but a sexologist…) haa, haa.

My teacher was a Sinhala person. “Amurthaya/Amurtha” meaning Sweet.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    You write: “Amurthaya/Amurtha” meaning Sweet.

Legend has it that it’s slightly salty.

Well, maybe, like the old Krackjack biscuits, it’s both sweet and salty. 😉

BTW, are the Krackjacks still around?

  9. medytrance   November 17, 2009 at 1:36 pm

    You are the limit SI.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    Enna achi (what happened)?

    😉

  10. shuaib68   November 17, 2009 at 1:36 pm

SI: BTW, are the Krackjacks still around?

Yeah, It’s available here in the UAE. But, in Sri Lanka we have a local stuff called Krackers-Cheesy and salty.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Then it should be available in the labyrinth of the Patel Bros aisles.

Seen the Telugu movie “Happy Days” as yet? Not a very logical movie, but touchy at times. I can’t seem to find a review of it on SI.

Also, what’s up with “Godavari”? Seen it as yet?

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write above: Also, what’s up with “Godavari”? Seen it as yet?

Aha, do you have a spy in our place?

Because just as you were asking that question we were writing a new post The Road Ahead for Movie Buffs – Foremost, The Road in which we said that we hope to receive the Godavari DVD tomorrow. So most likely we’ll watch it tomorrow.

    2. Happy Days, not yet.
