Oh my god ! What has happened to you !
For many years now, director Priyadarshan has been churning out rather tacky and humourless “comedies’.
Other than Hera-pheri and Hungama, his other movies like
Hulchul, Garam-masala, Dhol, Mere baap pehle aap, Bhagam-bhag etc have turned out to be duds.
The humour is very forced, mostly of slapstik and toilet variety, and the movies end in a grand free-for-all confusion. We are supposed to lap it all up in the name of comedy.
Now, this movie that you are watching has got Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty, the trio of Hera-pheri.
But I doubt the movie will be as good, because the Priyan fellow has stopped thinking fresh.
BTW, the same guy won the best movie National award for Kanjeevaram (Dharm was also a contender), so he still has the prowess.
I actually hope that the movie is funny even if it is insane. Good luck.
