Watch No man’s land if you didn’t.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    Which one?

The 1987 or the 2001 film?

  2. sganeshkumar1989   December 3, 2009 at 10:32 pm

surprised that this small movie released in your area? :O

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: surprised that this small movie released in your area?

Telugu film producers/distributors obviously believe all the idiots are congregated here. 🙁

    2. Unbelievably Bad.

Are you planning to watch Paa? Indian reviewers gave good rating to it (almost all reviews > 3.5).

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: Indian reviewers gave good rating to it (almost all reviews > 3.5)

A lot of Indian reviewers (fortunately, not all) are good ass kissers.

    2. You write: Are you planning to watch Paa?

Over the last 2-3 days, we’ve watched Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett) and Jack (Robin Williams).

  4. chaitu1987   December 4, 2009 at 3:24 am

    the 2001 film

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    OK.

  5. amitshitty   December 4, 2009 at 4:26 am

Paa is neither copy of Benjamin Button nor copy of Jack.

Secondly I know you will give bad review to film because you are anti-Bachchan.

Your review – first who is actor. If he is your favourite then you will give him good review and if he is not youur favourite then trash the film.

Sadly u r another biased mediocre reviewer.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. Given the nonsense in your above comment, we felt compelled to exercise our editorial discretion and change your user-name from amitshetty to amitshitty.

You may, of course, change it back but we strongly recommend you retain our well-meaning modification since that’s more reflective of your persona. 😉

    2. We are not anti or pro anyone here.

We have neither favorites nor enemies.

We have only actors and non-actors, good movies and crap movies.

    Comprende.

Look at all our reviews here. They should tell you we have not a biased bone in our body.

    3. BTW, have you watched all three movies to declare unequivocally that Paa is not a copy.

Just stop joking you mediocre reviewer.

You hate Bachchan and your so-called great director Danny Boyle makes a film like Slumdog Millionnaire with inspiration from his great Deewar apart from other great like Satya.

If Abhishek and Aishwarya act badly you people blame it on Amitabh Bachchan.

It is same as if Steven Spielberg’s child directs a crap movie then Steven Spielberg becomes crap.

Up in the Air Review – Watch this Charmer; Screw the Bachcha-ns

Now, that should make you happy. 😉

Seriously, we don’t dislike or like any of these stars/actors.

We’re indifferent to them except in the degree of irritation they cause us with their performances/non-performances.

    2. You write: If Abhishek and Aishwarya act badly you people blame it on Amitabh Bachchan.

Can’t remember blaming Bachchan Sr for Bachchan Jr’s idiocy.

Oh well, if you sire a bozo actor like Abhishek Bachchan then we guess you have to take some responsibility.

You can use words for other people (maid-fucker,jokers,piece of shit). But when someone shows you the mirror you get agitated.

This is simply hypocrisy. I am simply here because I want to see how a clown review a film.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. The fact that you are able to put forth your drivel and get them published verbatim gives you little cause for complaint

    2. What else would you call a maid-fucker like Om Puri other than maid-fucker?

And should a movie turn out to be a piece of shit as most Indian movies are, we suspect you’d want us to find some extenuating circumstance.

  8. amitshetty   December 4, 2009 at 10:26 pm

    Ok apologies for getting overboard.

Your reviews are far better than most of the arm-chair critics.

But the problem is that you abuse users who disagree with you and your reviews.

That’s not done. Straight in the face attitude is good but also show some respect because you critics dont make actors famous. These people (the users like me and others who go to cinema) make them famous.

If an actor doesn’t get support from public he will not stand a chance (even if critics support him).

Same way if an actor get support from public he will never go down (even if critics degrade him).

Once Again sorry for bad behaviour.

Frankly speaking you have saved me from wating my money.

I missed Arya 2 and DDD because of you (unfortunately my friends saw both films and are now crying about losing 4 $).

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: But the problem is that you abuse users who disagree with you and your reviews.

    Stop weaving your fantasies here.

There are scores upon scores here who disagree with us and yet upon whom not the slightest harsh word has slipped from our keyboard.

More often than not, our irritation is with idiocy, fan-boys a.k.a chamchas and vested interests who try devious tricks to besmirch the reputation of this blog.

Not a few scumbags have traveled quite some distance to shut us down/make life difficult for us. Comprende.

While some resort to lies in hopes that a lie repeated a 100 times would become the truth, others have crossed the Rubicon and gone farther than that.

Not all commenters are who they seem to be. 🙁

    2. You write: Straight in the face attitude is good but also show some respect because you critics dont make actors famous. These people (the users like me and others who go to cinema) make them famous.

We couldn’t care less whether the stars/actors are famous or infamous.

All we care about is that we get value for the money we plunk down for the movie tickets.
