Sad, Another Bomb Attack on Our Country

Reports are starting to come in from India of another bomb attack.

This time the butchers have struck in the western Indian city of Pune, which is about 100 miles south of the business hub of Mumbai.

Early indications are that 9 people have died and 45 injured in the bomb explosion at the popular German bakery, located near a Jewish prayer center.

The bombing occurred at 19:30 IST (9 AM ET).

India has been the center of repeated bomb attacks for the last few years.

Few major Indian cities have been spared the horror of these attacks, often blamed on Muslim extremists (both the homegrown variety and the Pakistan scum).

    Very shameful incident.

There was some intelligence report last week that terrorist threatened bomb blasts in Delhi, Pune and Kanpur.

Instead of providing security to the people government was busy providing security to paki loving srk movie.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

While it’s too early to say anything definitively we (and surely countless other Indians as well) wouldn’t be in the least surprised if the Paki scum abetted by their Indian bhai were behind this attack too.

  2. SRINIVAS   February 13, 2010 at 1:47 pm

this was only expected …..it was a matter of time ……..more to come ……….

maybe now we should have SRK and all those secularists talk about how good people of pakistan are ……..

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

They’re saying the blast was triggered by an IED.

    • joeantony   February 16, 2010 at 6:51 am

Just because there are few thugs like Raj thackerey and Bal thakerey we cannot term all Maratis are scum. Rule goes to pakistanis as well, you missed to take the point.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

The Thackerays are thugs but not murderers.

As we’ve said elsewhere too, the Pakistan civil society at various levels has got vitiated by deep-rooted hatred of India.

  3. amitshetty   February 13, 2010 at 10:56 pm

    why blame pakistani scums ?
Blame those chutia jokers named Shah Rukh Khan who always advocate his support for Pakistan.
Blame it on those chutia media who advocates some thing like Aman Ki Asha.
Who is responsible for these ?
We the fellow Indians who dont come outside the house to vote and in process we choose inefficient people.

Indians are like Gandhiji’s 3 monkeys in different way:
1.Don’t see bad (turn a blind eye to the problems we are facing).
2.Don’t hear bad (Put hands on your ears when someone is spewing venom and hatred).
3.Don’t say bad (remain silent against those bastards who kill innocent people).

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    True, the three points.

Earlier today, we spoke to a friend in India who complained that India was turning into a Banana Republic.

    • joeantony   February 16, 2010 at 6:59 am

Banana Republic – very much true. The rulers are turning out to be hitman for the US and the west. Last year they fixed sugar price as 26 INR and consumed whole of local stock and then after they ran our of sugar, they imported for 38 INR, policies are made just for helping billionaires to gain more money. You were knowing about IDPs in Srilanka, shocking is India has millions of IDPs of its own, the so called naxal infested places like chatisgarh, jarkhand etc people were ravaged and driven to the woods so that the government can let some tycoons come and make business with the rich minerals available in these places.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

Unlike the gushing optimists, we’ve always believed there’s little hope for India.

  4. sam   February 13, 2010 at 10:58 pm

Just as we were beginning to relax, comes another terror attack.

Do we need innocent lives to be lost time and again for our govt to sit up and do something?

P Chidambaram simply says “One or more persons could have come inside in the pretext of buying something and left a bag” He is guessing!

This attack would now give an opportunity for opposition parties to take a dig at Congress, and cat fight would start leaving us hopelessly waiting… for another attack! Shame!

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

We’ve always believed India needs a Lee Kuan Yew type of leader.

Instead, all we get is Udhav Thakre, Rahul Gandhi, Stalin et al leaving us pessimistic over the country’s future prospects.

All this talk of India becoming a super power is just hype.

The west is bogged down in an economic crisis, India is trapped in a corrupt cesspool and primordial clashes….it seems the Yellow Monkeys (Chinese) are the only folks who are forging ahead.

  5. SRINIVAS   February 14, 2010 at 12:17 am

@ Sam: This attack would now give an opportunity for opposition parties to take a dig at Congress, and cat fight would start leaving us hopelessly waiting… for another attack! Shame!

Its this line of thinking …..which needs to change…………media refuses to criticise the govt ……………..oppn parties are not expected to …..because if they do so they are indulging dirty politics …………people as usual will keep quite and wait for the next attack ……..

so it seems as if Govt has a license to fail repeatedly …………and get away with it ……

When a blast takes place and the Govt is put on the mat ………..its not on the defensive….it simply gets away …………by blaming others for politicising the issue ……..and then the focus shifts to the politics part of it and less about the failure of the govt ……….

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Issues like terrorism and bomb attacks have to be politicized, by which we mean discussion, debates and criticism within the political framework.

  6. sganeshkumar1989   February 14, 2010 at 3:53 am

I’m afraid if these terrorists will now take advantage of the situation in Hyderabad (Where everything seems to be out of control.). 🙁

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

In Andhra Pradesh, the biggest terrorists unleash their terror on the screen. 😉

  7. SRINIVAS   February 14, 2010 at 9:29 am

Hyderabad has enough of them ………and they are exported outside and to other parts of the country ………..i am not sure if they would burn their own house

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

As long as people believe in the stupidity called religion and live in heterogeneous societies, there will be violence.

The U.S. and Western Europe have been mostly spared that because they are mostly Christian nations.

    • racer44   February 15, 2010 at 9:41 am

“The U.S. and Western Europe have been mostly spared that because they are mostly Christian nations.”

Of course not. They have just gotten over these violent phases in their development. They have witnessed their own wars on home-soil and the bloodshed and, over the course of time, learnt that it is better to out-source these wars and make profits from selling weapons to two battle-hungry third-world states rather than fighting themselves.

In any case, christianity has just as much an evil history as Islam. All abrahamic religions specialise in murdering anybody who don’t agree with them. Christianity has, several centuries after its birth, devised less violent (and more insidious) schemes for increasing its following, like financially well-endowed missionaries who can start hospitals and schools which gradually christianise its pupils and bribe poor people in the vicinity.

Heck, one of my friends who studied in a missionary school told me how, on the pretext of taking them to an amusement park, the students were carted off to a local church where they partook of a feast when several students suddenly fainted. The pastor then asked all of them to pray to jesus and his father in heaven and administered some holy wine to the unconscious students. And voila, all the fainted students just as quickly revived. Guess how shocked my friend was when, a few days later, police arrested the school headmaster and some teachers for lacing the food with sleeping drugs!!! One of the students who fainted had, suspecting foul-play, taken a bit of the food with him and shown it to his parents who complained to the police.

      You and your know-no-evil christians!!!
Hindus are relatively better, in that they attack others mostly as retaliation for some harm done to them. This is true whether you consider Mumbai riots 1992, or Gujarat 2002 or Kandhamal recently. Hindus are better known for persecuting their own kind through nonsense like caste and stuff.

I daresay muslims SELDOM face the kind of persecution in India that they face in america or other “western” “european” countries, despite India having suffered more due to them.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

      1. You write above: They have just gotten over these violent phases in their development.

The major war on U.S. soil was not religious but the civil war.

      2. You write: christianity has just as much an evil history as Islam. All abrahamic religions specialise in murdering anybody

Of course, all religions have an evil history.

The essence of all religions (perhaps with the exception of Buddhism or Jainism) is that their way of life is inherently superior to all others. And in that kernel of belief lies the seeds of sanguinary conflict.

      3. You write: You and your know-no-evil christians!!!

Had a little too much of toddy tonight, did you? No, we’re not lovers of the ‘virgin’s’ son.

As we’ve often said for the last couple of years, we do not prostrate on the altar of any religion. All religion is stupidity and their ‘faithful followers’ mere sheep.

It’s true that America is one of the biggest arms sellers but that really has more to do with the military-industrial complex, which will sell to anyone who can pay.

      4. You write: I daresay muslims SELDOM face the kind of persecution in India that they face in america or other “western” “european” countries, despite India having suffered more due to them.

If Muslims faced so much persecution in the U.S. or Western Europe wouldn’t they be desperate to catch the next flight.

BTW, the flights to/from Muslim countries are full only in one direction – Flights coming to America.

      5. Overall, excluding some places like Gujarat, Kashmir (both sides are to blame here), we’d say Hindus are a largely patient, tolerant lot compared to Muslims and Christians. That’s partially because Hindus are pussies.

      • racer44   February 15, 2010 at 10:26 am

“If Muslims faced so much persecution in the U.S. or Western Europe wouldn’t they be desperate to catch the next flight.”

Remember, I only said less persecuted. The obvious monetary(and life-style) benefits of a job in the U.S almost always outweigh considerations of social persecution. This is true not only in case of muslims in U.S, but also indian students in australia.

“Partially, because the Hindus are pussies.”
Once again, false notions. Political leaders, I agree. The older crop, especially of the BJP, was a meek lot. Advani is a cowardly turncoat. But not Modi (In an interview, he refused point-blank to apologize for his alleged “role” in the Gujarat riots), and most definitely not Varun Gandhi.

        SearchIndia.com Responds:

        1. These days, we’re inclined to view this so called persecution of Muslims in America as a myth perpetrated by media outside the U.S. to tarnish the image of Americans and fuel the hatred of many Muslims.

Unlike in India, law in the U.S. still has some teeth left. It’s not easy to get away with persecution of any one here.

        2. India’s leaders are largely Hindus.

Look at the frequent violent attacks you we endure from Pakistan/Pak-backed Muslims and we just keep talking and talking and talking until the next attack. Then we bitch and moan for a few hours about the death of innocents and then we resume talking and talking and talking. And then history repeats itself with another major violent attack and more casualties.

Just like Islam/Osama is bleeding us/U.S to death financially in Afghanistan and here through the need for increased security measures, Pakistan will bleed India to death through attacks here, there and elsewhere.

Keeping India always on tenterhooks and in a constant state of tension and forcing the country to invest more and more on internal security is a strategically considered plan of Pakistan to prevent India from moving forward.

And Chutiyas like Shahrukh Khan say Pakistan is a great neighbor and we ought to love em. He’s welcome to kiss Pak-ASS-tan.

        • Twig   February 15, 2010 at 12:36 pm

“That’s partially because Hindus are pussies.”

completely agree with this. As a person who is completely indifferent to both religions ( Hinduism and Christianity) and observing the ongoing situation in India for soul harvesting, I can clearly say that Hindus lack brains.

They should be doing a lot if they want to win the battle of conversions. Conversions, you should come and see here and how rapidly Christians are doing here. The brainless, impatient Hindus don’t know what to do except attacking Churches and ironically it is they (Hindus ) who become villains in the eyes of the world.

In A.P, christians have three T.V channels and Hindus have only 1 channel and Christians have already occupied morning time slots in major Telugu channels during Morning hours airing sentimental/emotional stuff. All directed well.

All indian artists should learn how to act by seeing the evangalists/ T.N’s Dinakaran family etc preaching. Wonderful acting.

@SearchIndia, have a glimpse of what and how evangelists preach to the masses here. Wonderful planning and acting.
          Really wonderful.

Hindus OTOH, as usual have impatient cries and after some time forget all these happily.

          SearchIndia.com Responds:

          1. And the Oscar for nonstop nonsense goes to Paul Dinakaran. The Miracle-man, the healer…ha ha ha ha.

Paul Dinakaran can make the cripples walk, heal the sick, make the rain stop… 😉

BTW, can Paul Dinakaran make Ajith or Abhishek Bachchan act?

The Christian preaching/mega-churches/public-services are nothing but a money-minting racket. We have quite a few of them here too.

Of course, the Swaminarayan Mandirs selling toothpaste, Badam Burfi, Kaju Katli and Sev in the U.S. are no different.

          2. The problem with conversions is that there’s so much poverty in India that the poor are easy bait for foreign evangelists with a few morsels of rice.

    • joeantony   February 16, 2010 at 7:04 am

Both in 26\11 and now (pune blast) the targets were westeners. For these thugs India is a easy place they can kill some whites, alongside they can keep their sponsors (the pak army and ISI) happy by making Indian security forces pee in their pants.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

But the majority of the victims were Indians.

why wait for someone to make a change, why wait for the government to make the change. soen one said be the change you want to be and I think he/she was shot or butchered or something like that.

AND why blame the Pakistanis?? I don’t honestly believe that line of thought.. BTW why blame the British.. We had a lot of infighting and back stabbing .. the merchants took advantage for 300 yrs.. Now have we Blame Pakistan and its our sibling..

Anyway what did we learn from the recent bomb blasts..(the media learnt to touch an all time low in inconsiderate newscasting).. YES the police are not doing their duty, the society hadn’t changed.. but who makes the society.. WE make it what it is.. don’t we? .. Do we even follow the traffic rule.

Yesterday I was demanded 500 Rs for Taxi for a 100 Rs drive. I had to keep 3 people from making me get into the taxi till I found a metered one. the fare came to 130 Rs for the metered taxi. Yes I had to fight.. I can see many chennaiites making a face saying whats all this fuss.. we go through it everyday and we dont fight.. I ask WHY DONT YOU FIGHT?. WHY?

Why not fight for basic decency instead of for preferential treatment, and Why not make a change one at a time. That will sure make India better. The British wouldnt have come in and recent bombblasts neednt have occured.

If all these blasts make for good stories with plenty of emotional potential.. It’s our bad to have such media.

Back to yesterday.. there was Stalin going somewhere on a train.. when I was at the station.. There were these chamchas chanting slogans like deputy long live deputy CM and all the CRAP.. there seemed to be a lot of security (in numbers) I had a lot of Baggage. Not a single person asked me what I was doing with all those luggage. No one checked any incoming outgoing person. Every policeperson seemed to be bored to be on the job.

Do you think we will ever learn?

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Te reason we often mention Pakistan is that country is bleeding India financially by forcing us to invest more and more people and money into security to thwart the bombers.

And it’s humanly impossible to have 100%-tight security everywhere without incurring the prohibitive cost that a poor country like India just cannot afford.

That said, it’s true the Indian social/political culture is a vitiated, corrupt, fatalistic, pass-the-buck culture.

    • joeantony   February 16, 2010 at 7:13 am

@ S.I : Pakistan is that country is bleeding ..

What you mean by ‘country of pakistan’ … Pak Govt.? Pak Army? or ISI? .. I refer to millions of people living there who just like you and me who want peace. These people cannot control these thugs like LeT or thalibans.. just like here in India we are not being able to control thugs like bal thakereys. Why to hate those millions of people for the atrocities of some thugs?

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

      1. Let’s get this clear, shall we.

Bal Thackeray has never gone and attacked another sovereign country.

Thackeray is often more bark than bite.

Pakistan on the other hand is an organized Mafia, jealous of India’s growth and relentless attacking and butchering Indians.

      2. You write: What you mean by ‘country of pakistan’ … Pak Govt.? Pak Army? or ISI? .. I refer to millions of people living there who just like you and me who want peace.

Regarding your point on the peace-loving people of Pakistan, we don’t agree with that logic. The Pak culture at various levels (government, Army, ISI, even cricket players Sohail Tanvir make sarcastic anti-Hindu remarks et al) is vitiated by deep hatred of India.

The only reason anyone takes the Paki whackos seriously is because they have nukes.

So, do you say Kasab attacked Mumbai or Pakistan-backed terrorist Kasab attacked Mumbai?

  10. StrYngLad74   February 15, 2010 at 3:08 pm

@SI and Twig: “That’s partially because Hindus are pussies.”

    Right on the money.

@SI: “Pakistan will bleed India to death through attacks here, there and elsewhere.”

They’re doing their best, but it is not going to happen. I’d say it’s they who’re f**ked more that us. Tariq Ali reported that “stunted growth of children” is becoming an epidemic there, due to severe malnutrition. Add to that, the lack of an indigenous economy, a failure to implement social-reforms that has led to rampant corruption, and a nation teetering towards diplomatic isolation and (as a result) total implosion of its governmental structure thanks to its engendered terrorist elements, I’d say they’re the ones who’re bleeding to death (but they also want to make sure they take us with them).

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

You write: I’d say they’re the ones who’re bleeding to death

No, as long as we keep throwing them our (U.S.) billions of $ in ‘aid’ the Paki mongrels will thrive.

The Home minister Chidhambaram has told that ‘It is not a failure of Intelligence as they KNEW that pune is going to be attacked’ …. WTF

You write above: The Home minister Chidhambaram has told that ‘It is not a failure of Intelligence

  12. sganeshkumar1989   February 16, 2010 at 7:58 am

Ok,what about Naxals.I want to know why some so-called intellectuals (The left-wing guys) tend to support them.I want to know why the media doesn’t condemn the Naxals in the same vein as they do in the case of a Jehadi terrorist attack?
They are also in my opinion terrorist, wjho must be flushed out,and doesn’t deserve any sympathy from any section of soceity.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

We are of two minds vis-a-vis naxalites. Not really sure where we stand.

In a corrupt, callous, poor, shitty country nation like India, without pressure points like Naxals the plight of the poor would be worse. But we also hate the Mao/communist ideology associated with these movements. Mao was a nut case after he assumed power and the communists remind us of that monster Stalin.

these fellas believes IPL and india are on their feets and we have a black sheep Shahrukh i love pak khan giving statements that they are a great neighbors and he gives interviews in almost every channels to promote MNIK and indian media (pity even guys like prannoy, rajdeep, barkha) completely forget his statements and hail him a sort of hero against thackerays.. with headlines “SRK snubs Senas” “MNIK wins the battle”…..how weird? Which country would tolerate this whacko?
