Incredible India 42: Hindu God Goes on Ram-page

Ram, the Hindu God beloved of a billion stupid Indians, seems to be in an angry mood.

So angry that the ‘God’ went on a RAMpage that took the lives of 65 of his devotees today in a stampede at the Ram Janaki temple in Kunda town of Pratapgarh district in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The devotees, mostly poor folk from neighboring villages, had gathered at the temple to partake of the feast and freebies being handed out when a gate under construction collapsed.

The dead were mostly children and women.

Stampedes at Hindu temples in India are not uncommon and often cause many deaths.

Poverty in Incredible India is so acute that huge crowds gather upon news of free food, clothes and other goodies.

Maybe, the Hindu God Ram was being merciful in killing these 65 people and sparing them the daily suffering that is the lot of countless poor Indians.

Hey, what was that noise?

Must be the wails of the bereaved victims singing that dirge Mera Bharat Mahaan.

Like all great souls, this ‘Swamiji’ is also Tamil. Said to hail from Tiruvannamalai.

    2. BTW, the ‘Swamiji’ dubs it a conspiracy on his web site.

At this moment, we feel that a mix of conspiracy, graphics and rumor are at play in these recent events that have unfolded. We are working on a legal course of action and will come up with updates in due course

In these trying times, we wish to reassure the lakhs of devotees and well-wishers whose sentiments have been deeply hurt by this conspiracy. We thank all the devotees and disciples for standing with us during these times

    Ha ha ha ha ha.

    Some conspiracy.

When it comes to conning foreigners, you can’t beat the cunning Indians.

There are lot of interesting things happening in incredible india.
    Swamis Sex and Drug scandal.
    Sex – ‘Swami’ Nityananda.
    Drug – ‘Kalki’ Bhagawan.

And the most interesting thing for me, M.F.Hussain choosing to be a Qatar Citizen.
Out of all the countries, he chose Qatar. One of the empirical observations is that brain diminishes in size as age progresses. Qatar is a country which does not give a damn about basic human rights – forget about freedom of expression.
    May be because of money.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. Iā€™m still an original indian, says MF Husain

    2. You write: Qatar is a country which does not give a damn about basic human rights

Does India guarantee the free expression rights of Muslims like M.F.Hussain?

@SI: “Does India guarantee the free expression rights of Muslims like M.F.Hussain” ?

      — You are right. India couldn’t guarantee it. The entire fault lied in the hands of Indian government who ever may have been in power. Atleast I don’t find fault in the radical Hindu groups for this time.

M.F.Hussain has been painting this form of art for the last 50 years or so. It’s surprising that all agitations is a recent phenomenon. May be since 15 years.
The rise of radical Hindu parties began in the later 80’s.
I see there is some sort of competitive intolerance between Hindus and Muslims.
India was the first country in the world to pay heed to a bunch of Muslims leader and banned “Satanic Verses”. (In the midst of Shah Bano and Ram Janam Bhumi ). Probably these hindus must have got pissed off and to prove that they are not pussies any more, started taking things in to their hands. If a small minority of Muslim assholes could get Indian govt ban a book, why not Hindus dictate actions to the govt?

In both cases, Indian govt failed. Radicals are there and will be there anywhere. It is the responsibility of the govt not to bend to the dictations of them. In both cases, this didn’t happen.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

India is a weak/soft state that will readily prostate before the loudest and angriest voice in the crowd.

Even with his solid majority in Parliament, Rajiv Gandhi lacked the cojones to stand up to the Mullahs and keeled over when it came to the Shah Bano case.
