From our vantage position in the U.S. watching the match on the PC, it’s clear that there is not much local interest in the Kenya-New Zealand match underway at the M.A.Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai (India).

The stands look mostly empty.

Not surprising considering the home team India is not playing but still a shame considering it’s a Sunday.

Perhaps, the ICC folks should have offered free admission to attract crowds.

At the end of 10th over, Kenya were 33 for 1.

Update:
Kenya 40-2 at the end of 12th over.

You schmucks can say what you want but Revenge is Sweet.

India inflicted a crushing defeat on Bangladesh today in the opening match of the 2011 ICC World Cup.

Sehwag richly deserved the Man of the Match award.

Let’s not forget Virat Kohli who followed up with an impressive 100.

Led by Virender Sehwag’s valiant 175, Indian batsmen made mincemeat of Bangladesh’ bowlers in the opening match of the 2011 ICC World Cup at Mirpur in Bangladesh.

At the end of the 50th over, India had notched up a respectable 370-4.

Sehwag was splendidly supported by youngster Virat Kohli, who scored a century in his first World Cup appearance.

Sehwag’s 175 came off 140 balls while Kohli’s 100 took just 83 balls.

Tough Road
Bangladesh has a daunting task ahead of it.

One might even take the risk and say that Bangladesh needs a miracle to win this match.

What say you schmucks. Does Bangladesh stand a chance?

Update: Willow Finally Up @ 5:30AM EST

Somebody, quickly get us our gun.

We want to shoot these Willow.tv bastards. There’s gonna be blood on the floor. Lots of it.

It’s 4:51AM on the U.S. East Coast.

And like all of you we too are desperate to watch the opening India vs Bangladesh 2011 ICC World Cup cricket match match being played at Mirpur in Bangladesh.

Folks, for the last 1 hour and 21 minutes we’ve been struggling to get Willow.tv (for which we paid $129) to load with zero success.

It’s not loading on TV (via Roku Wireless).

Nothing happens when you click on the Willow channel. Just a click sound on the Roku remote control is all that you hear.

No, it’s not loading on the PC/Web either.

Here are some of the error messages we are getting on the PC while trying to log on to Willow:

The include file ‘Misc/HeaderSection.asp’ was not found.
