SL Sets Massive Target of 328 for Zimbabwe; No Chance in Hell for Zimbabwe

Supported by centuries from Upul Tharanga (133) and Tilakarattne Dilshan (144), Sri Lanka has set a massive target of 328 for less favored Zimbabwe in today’s World Cup cricket match being played at Pallakele Stadium in Kandy (Sri Lanka).

After 50 overs, SL ended with 327-6 with an enviable 6.54 Run Rate.

Zimbabwe is batting now with Brendan Taylor and Regis Chakabva at the crease.

In our not so humble view, Zimbabwe has no chance in hell of avoiding defeat.

Zimbabwe score is 36-0 after 5 overs at 8:37AM EST.

As long as Taylor is there, they have a chance.. he has chased successfully in 2010 against SL.. but that was a much lower target.

Tough because the target is so high. Required Run Rate over 7.

Just logged on to Willow again to see if Taylor manages a century.

yeh sambar anna…good job, easy to follow the match while at work. appreciate it. but if you can get some topics..like why Dhoni favours North Indian Piyush Chawla than South Indian Spinner Aswin? I personally prefer Aswin in the team since he is a better bowler than piyush on any given day. Can you reach idiot gadda dhoni to make him to realize now than it is too late?

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

We doubt Dhoni is the last word on selection.

Apparently, Piyush Chawla is also a favorite of chief selector Krishnamachari Srikanth. Source: Wiki
