Suriya+Jyothika=Not Bad;John Abraham+Genelia=Bad

Watch Suriya and Jyothika in the Uyirin Uyire song from the Tamil film Kaakha Kaakha (2003).

Sure, the song/picturization is no masterpiece but there’s some life in the song and the scene.

Now, watch the two Bollywood stars John Abraham and Genelia make monkeys of themselves (below) in the ‘same’ song Khwabon Khwabon in Force (the Bollywood remake of Kaakha Kaakha), which is releasing on Friday.

John Abraham and Genelia look like clowns, escapees from a circus.

Hey, is there a Reservation quota for Christians and Parsis in Bollywood?

Suriya and Jyothika are way better actors and dancers than the John Abraham and Genelia combo, at least as far as the above songs are concerned.

Compared to Jyothika, we must say that Genelia in the Hindi remake has ZERO sex appeal!

No question, the choreographer of Force must be hung, drawn and quartered! πŸ˜‰

    Hmmm.

On the other hand, how is this song’s dance and picturization?

Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal Single Track Review-Fabulous Song and Music

The single song of the upcoming film Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal was launched this week. The song is Oru Murai(One More Time).

The song is composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar. The singers are G.V.Prakash Kumar,Blaaze and Andrea.I wish to appreciate G.V for singing for this song. His soft voice perfectly suits the song. The voice of Blaaze is a bit of a dampener for this song. But you do get used to it after a few listening sessions. The song is delightful to hear and I have never heard this kind of beautiful music ever!!

I truly believe that both G.V.Prakash and Yuvan Shankar Raja are true successors of A.R.Rahman.Irrespective of the fact that there are strong plagiarism charges on G.V(for one song in Deiva Thirumagal) and Yuvan’s music being ordinary at times, these two are at present, probably the best music composers in Tamil film industry.

7aam arivu trailer. What do you think?

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    Operation Red?

    Ha ha ha.

The DNA concept seems to be copied from Assassin’s Creed. It’s a Diwali release. So we’ll know how good or bad the movie in a few weeks.

      • 1012900   September 30, 2011 at 10:27 am

Btw, the villain Johnny Tri Nguyen looks very familiar to me. I think he’s the villain from Tony Jaa’s movie Tom Yum Goong. He was incredible in the action scenes. Let’s see how well Murugadoss has used him in 7aam Arivu.

        SearchIndia.com Responds:

Netflix has only the edited version of Tom Yum Goong titled Protector. πŸ™ Still, we added it to our queue.

        • 1012900   September 30, 2011 at 12:23 pm

I wouldn’t recommend watching Goong. It has nothing but fights and more fights. It’s perfect if you’re looking just for a way of time pass, with a coke and popcorn in ur hands, and all you wanna see is people’s ass getting kicked πŸ˜›

Watched in bed??? With Whom πŸ˜›

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    With Lakshmi Rai, of course.

But she removed her ahem the dark glasses she wore in the video. πŸ˜‰

“Sure, the song/picturization is no masterpiece but there’s some life in the song and the scene.”
The song “Uyirin Uyire” in Kaakka Kaaka is good, but not great by any means. Also, the real and reel life chemistry between Surya and Jyothika could have made it look better.

As for Genelia and John Abraham, whoever told you that Mannequins can act????
As for Genelia D Souza aka Harini (as they used to refer her once in Kollywood), she is an adequate actress with bubbly looks. But once that youthful enthusiasim and that chubby looks fade away, she is gonna find herself acting perhaps as John Abraham’s sister or perhaps grandmom in the next decade πŸ˜‰

  5. deepa   September 30, 2011 at 3:06 am

    Oh oh………..Abraham looks bad!

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    He looks like a buffoon.

We couldn’t help laughing, which as they say is the ultimate insult for an artiste.

  6. TheThirdMan   September 30, 2011 at 8:59 am

Force is a pathetic remake of Kaakha Kaakha. Here’s my take on it.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    We’re gonna skip it!

    No movies this weekend. πŸ™

  7. Hari   September 30, 2011 at 12:44 pm

And you would know that the puratchi thalapathi the greatest actor is inflicting torture & providing pukeworthy performances in virtually every frame in recent tamil films – Vishal has his new movie Vedi released!!

    πŸ˜‰

Now its a case of who’s worse – John Abraham or Vishal..

    What’s your pick?? πŸ˜‰

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Vedi did not make it here.

    • Hari   September 30, 2011 at 10:48 pm

Well then count your blessings as even the trailer made it seem a torturous & mind-numbing ordeal!! πŸ˜‰

  8. podadubuku   September 30, 2011 at 5:39 pm

John Abraham should be shot, what a piece of junk.

I guess the director should be shot first for having chosen him.

Just by watching this song, you can imagine the torture this moron must have inflicted for 2 hours. This guy has the height and the build of a cop, but what’s the use, he can’t act shit.

If I had been the director, I would have silently slipped real acid into the bottle in the eve teasing scene.

Hrithik would have been a far better choice for this movie.

Do fans really wave their hands like they’re on dope?

We thought such nonsense happens only when some ‘Brother’ is speaking at a Christian Mass. πŸ˜‰

  10. 1012900   October 5, 2011 at 10:45 am

Heard the song Chammak challo from Ra.One which was sung by Akon?

I was surprised to hear Akon singing so well in Hindi. The song too is pleasing but I can’t say the same about the picturization. Like it?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-NsMOxhbnU&feature=related

There’s also a ‘Making of Chammak Challo”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAHagot7RIQ&feature=aso

Btw, the tune kinda reminds me of Akon’s You’re so beautiful and Smack That.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

Picturization in your first link is ugly.

Kinda like a Dharavi pimp preening and showing off his new Ahmednagar slut to prospective Matunga Johns.

    Disgusting. πŸ™

Smack That is OK. We purchased that track long back from iTunes for our first iPod.

  11. 1012900   October 6, 2011 at 1:14 am

Yeah, the picturization is below par. What about the song?

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    Hardly the stuff of legend.

    • 1012900   October 7, 2011 at 4:00 am

Well, Vishal and Shekhar are no legends πŸ˜‰

As for Akon, he definitely does deserve credit for singing in a completely unfamiliar language.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

You write: As for Akon, he definitely does deserve credit for singing in a completely unfamiliar language.

      Nonsense.

If you were given lots of $$$, you too would sing in Bhojpuri Swahili and Chinese.
