Sexy, Classy, Sexy – SI Loves It, Loves It

Of the countless dances and item numbers that SI has seen in a million Hindi films, none has been as pleasing as the below dance-song-dance from Jab Tak Hain Jaan.

On a big screen, it’s awe’f*cking’some!

Enjoy, Schmucks.

The below video contains the full pre-Ishq dance PLUS Ishq Shava dance/song:

Now, let me get back to my Chocolate-Gin.

I’m already on my second glass tonight. Hey, I’m celebrating Diwali. 😉

If you love movies and if you haven’t seen Jab Tak Hain Jaan then you’re a dumber SOB than I thought!

Yash Chopra, I salute you! 🙂

In acting department Katrina did pretty well in jab tak hai jaan compared to other movies, but still a long long way to go,but her dancing skills is getting better and better in every film ,may be she is currently the best dancer in bollywood

You write: Katrina…her dancing skills is getting better and better in every film ,may be she is currently the best dancer in bollywood

Katrina is a most graceless, classless dancer.

Welcome back, SI. Your blog was jacked yesterday.

      1. If you’re referring to the blank screen with a ‘message’ that’s because of an errant plugin that clashes with a caching plugin.

      Sorry about that.

We get so many attacks from a lot of Indian and Chinese crackheads that I need to keep both plugins.

      2. If you still maintain Sonny wrote the JTHJ review, I ask, has Pot been legalized in NC…Thought they did it only in CO.

I am not maintaining that Sonny wrote the JTHJ review. (No offense to Sonny, but it was way better than what Sonny writes – I’d bet that Sonny would agree too.). I initially thought you took the gist of Sonny’s review and created an SI version of it. But now I am holding on to the “sarcasm” theory.

        From:
“Ishq Shava, the item-like dance number in the London tunnel, was so beautifully, tastefully executed it took my breath away. Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif were a sight to behold.”, you revert back “Katrina is a most graceless, classless dancer.”-mode. I liked that reviewing technique. Your loyal readers got what you wanted to convey 😉

        SearchIndia.com Responds:

        1. I also said in response to an earlier comment that sometimes in movies/life, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and JTHJ was a good illustration of that hypothesis!

Grace and class in movies/life are a function of both individual DNA and the milieu.

Indians as a rule have little grace or class whether in movies or in the larger life. (Any surprise then that it’s a land forsaken even by God!) But sometimes mutations in DNA trump milieu and we see rare miracles of grace and class even among Indians.

In Katrina’s case the minus of her individual DNA overrides the plus of upbringing in a Western milieu.

        2. All this is not to take credit away from the late Yash Chopra for a stellar job.
