BicyTaxi

A Cycle Rickshaw Driver looking for Passengers in Times Square, NYC

And you thought Cycle Rickshaws were only in India.

Well, think again.

If you stroll around Times Square in New York, you'll be surprised to see a cute little transportation vehicle.

Called BicyTaxi, the new contraption is a three-wheeler just like cycle rickshaws back home in India.

A ride in the BicyTaxi costs $1 per block with a $10 minimum per person.

BicyTaxis are made in Germany and shipped to New York.

The company operating these BicyTaxis says its drivers come from different nationalities ranging in age from 20 to 30.

BicyTaxi U.S. is also pitching these three-wheelers as an affordable and trendy advertising option. We think it'd be a great advertising option for big Indian restaurant chains.

Hey, next time you are in Times Square, hop into one of these BicyTaxis for that nostalgic trip down memory lane of all the Cycle Rickshaw trips you took back home in India.
