 Radio City Music Hall 1260 6th Avenue New York, NY 10020 With a spectator seating capacity of 5,933 seats, Radio City has been a venue for a variety of programs ranging from movie shows to Daytime Emmy Award ceremony, Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Grammy Awards and sports events. The interior of the Radio City was declared as a New York City landmark in 1978. Some of the interior attractions of Radio City include The Great Stage resembling a setting Sun measuring 66.5 feet deep and 144 feet wide. The Music Hall's Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ is yet another attraction. Walking tours of the interior of Radio City Music Hall are conducted Monday-Saturday from 11:30 am - 6:00 pm. Radio City Music Hall is named after one of its first tenants - Radio City Corporation of America. |
