A completely forgettable film from director Karan Johar.
If even the magic combination of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor cannot deliver top class entertainment does Bollywood have any other formula?
Shahrukh Khan (Rahul) is the elder (and adopted) son of Yashvardan Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) and Nandini (Jaya Bachchan). Rahul falls in love with Anjali (Kajol) and wants to marry her, a move that his father opposes vehemently. Rahul's decision to marry Anjali creates a rift in the family leading to his departure for London with Anjali and much sadness in the entire family.
It's now left to younger brother Rohan (Hrithik Roshan) to get the family together again. Anjali's sister Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) with her skimpy attire looks and acts silly.
The songs are not great either except for "You Are My Soniya" sung by Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam. - Copyright SearchIndia.com.
