Another banal Bollywood love story that should never have been made.

US-based Raj (Abhishek Bachchan) is conned into visiting India to attend his cousin's wedding. Once in India, his uncle Rakesh (Satish Shah) quickly gets on with the job of finding a bride for Raj.

Rakesh assigns his fashion designer assistant Namrata (Aishwarya Rai) as chaperone to assist Raj in the bride selection process. Guess what? Raj flips for Namrata, who we quickly learn is a single mother, her husband having disappeared seven years back.

Raj soon ingratiates himself into the hearts of both Namrata's son Adi and more importantly the kid's mother as well.

Just when you thought that things were going smashingly well for the lovebirds, Namrata's long-missing husband throws the spanner in the works by appearing out of the blue and wanting to start anew.

Frankly, Abhishek Bachchan needs to go back to acting school while beauty queen Aishwarya looks positively horrible in several scenes that require for her to do something more than just smile and look pretty.

The songs in this film are hardly anything to rave about although Achchi Lagti is better than the rest. - Copyright SearchIndia.com.
