Quick, drop the guillotine on the Bollywood bozos who brought us Hum Kisise Kum Nahin.

A lift of the fine Hollywood comedy Analyze This (starring two extraordinary actors Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal), a bunch of inept Bollywood jokers have taken a solid entertainer and turned it into an unwatchable disaster.

If Robert De Niro as the Mafia Don and Billy Crystal playing his shrink were a delight to watch, Sanjay Dutt as the gangster Munnabhai and Amitabh Bachchan playing his doctor are just awful to endure.

While chasing one of his rivals, dreaded gangster Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) stumbles upon the beautiful Komal Rastogi (Aishwarya Rai) and is instantly smitten with the lady. Since laying his eyes upon Komal, Munnabhai finds himself in a tizzy and unable to concentrate on anything. The gangster is reduced to such a state that he can't even hold a gun steady without his hands shaking.

Komal, who runs a dance school, is also the younger sister of Dr.Rastogi (Amitabh Bachchan).

Aghast over the changes in their boss, the Don's minions decide to take him for treatment to a doctor.

And guess what? They end up with Dr.Rastogi. The Don immediately takes to the scared doctor, who unwittingly advises the Mafia chief on how to go about winning the girl. However, none of the characters realize that Komal is actually the doctor's sister.

When the doctor, Komal and her beau Raja (Ajay Devgan) visit Malaysia on vacation, Munnabhai follows them even there to the great consternation of his doctor. In Malaysia, Munnabhai delightedly discovers that his fixation is none other than the sister of his favorite doctor.

The rest of this assinine movie is a bizarre tale of Munnabhai's attempts to woo the lady of his dreams even as the doctor and Raja keep thwarting him.

Besides the messed up story, there are other culprits responsible for the fiasco that's Hum Kisise Kum Nahin. Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Aishwarya Rai seem hopelessly amateurish in their roles. Of the three, Aishwarya Rai comes up real short in the acting department. Ajay Devgan doesn't have that meaty a role.

The music in Hum Kisise Kum Nahin is on par with the rest of this horrid movie - unendurable.

Director Harold Ramis delivered a powerful entertainer in Analyze This while his Bollywood counterpart David Dhawan could only manage a pathetic dud in Hum Kisise Kum Nahin. - Copyright SearchIndia.com.
