Forget USA. It is even dead in Indian box-office where even trash like Wanted and APKGK are blockbuster hits.

This shows people are now tired of watching Akshay Kumar and his bunch making craps for many years.

It is time for Akshay Kumar to chose quality over quantity otherwise he will be dead in Bollywood just like his predecessor Govinda (whose comedies are also big hits like Akshay’s inspite of being craps).

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: It is time for Akshay Kumar to chose quality over quantity

    Hell will freeze over before Akshay Kumar learns to spell Q U A L I T Y.

    2. You write: otherwise he will be dead in Bollywood just like his ….

Akshay Kumar is already dead meat…it’s just that nobody’s told the corpse yet.

Censor board should act in banning such films…:)… That would be some real work for it.

Well you have declared a war against Paa… I ve seen Cheeni kum and the director seemed quite good by then. Atleast, give it a shot before dismantling it. In
India it had mixed reviews, more on the positive side of scale.

I have least faith in them but all of them could not be bribed, i guess. 😉

And in some previous entries, you have written that Amitabh cannot act. You cannot ignore his great performances in numerous movies over the years. He is indeed a great actor. Period.

Of course not. How could you even impute sacrilegious thoughts to us.

We take great pride that we were born in the same soil as the Bachchans.

    2. We’ve seen most of the movies listed in your Bachipedia.

With the exception of Black, the other movies were made some 25+ years ago.

I think Bollywood will loom in darkness in 2010.
2010 will be the year in which people will advise you to avoid Bollywood films at any cost.
    Why ?
1.Yash Chopra relaunching his son Uday Chopra and Dino Morea with Priyanka Chopra as heroine.
2.Salman Khan playing role of warrior with Katrina look-alike as his heroine.
3.Akshay Kumar making a movie with makers of Kambakkht Ishq with Jiah Khan (who gave us nightmares in Nishabd and Ghajini) as heroine.
4.Two Southern actress Priyamani and Trisha making debuts alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar respectively.
5.Karan Johar making film on terrorism with autism as added attraction (I hope SRK will not make caricature of autistics).
6.Katrina Kaif the non-actress glam doll playing role of female politician.
    and many more.

2009 will be tough to emulate or maybe not.. too many disasters, very few hits when compared to 2008

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. Interesting chart. Thanks.

With so many disasters and flops, somebody is losing big money.

    2. There’s also audience fatigue with so many movies coming out.

Also, keep in mind that there’s some audience overlap in parts of India like Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, where people watch both Bollywood and Telugu or Kannada films respectively.

    3. This could be wishful thinking now – Maybe, a big Maybe, the audience is starting to ‘see’ most of the Indian movies as junk.

I would love to have a glimpse of these rich idiots who fund all these monumental disasters.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

In the case of De Dana Dan, the producers are Ganesh Jain, Girish Jain and Sunil Lulla (of Eros) and with Paa, it’s Amitabh Bachchan Corporation.

Just went through careers of Akshay and Saif.
In 1990s and early 2000s – Akshay much better than Saif (Saif Ali Khan was worse than Bobby Deol as he had 2-3 solo hits like Barsaat and Soldier,Saif had none)

Present times – Saif is now best among superstar actors and he is improving (his films with kareena and yashraj is blot though on his career). Akshay Kumar is certainly worst among superstar actors and with 2 more duds he will join likes of Tusshar Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. You write: Akshay Kumar is certainly worst among superstar actors and with 2 more duds he will join likes of Tusshar Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

If Bobby Deol had a p*ssy he’d be Priyanka Chopra or if Priyanka Chopra had a p*nis she would be Bobby Deol in that both are hopelessly incompetent in the acting department.

    Unbearable really.

Wonder if the duo has acted together in a movie. That’d be cause to launch a revolution.

    2. As for Tusshar Kapoor, he must be the Missing Link’s elder sibling.

Now we know how fortunate we are not to see them both together.

Based on the Wiki profile, Chamku looks interesting.
