Pak Loving Chutiya Khan’s MNIK Struggles in India

Hooray, God exists.

Ram, Allah, Christ or wateva the name of that guy in the sky is exists.

Shahrukh Khan oops Pakistan loving Chutiya’s latest round of garbage My Name is Khan seems to be having a hard time in India.

South Asian Muslims may be boosting ticket sales for My Name is Khan in the U.S. because of its anti-American story-line but reports from India paint a grim picture.

Here’s a sample of Indian reports on the movie’s struggle to get the crowds into the theatres:

* NDTV:

After a bumper opening, Shah Rukh Khan starrer My Name Is Khan is being cold-shouldered by the audience here. Cinema hall owners blame the “non-entertaining content” of the movie.

“There is a huge fall in My Name Is Khan ticket sales. While it was just 30 percent Wednesday, it is only 20 percent Thursday. The film is not being appreciated because of the content,” Amit Awasthi, manager (programming and operations) of Spice Cinemas, told IANS.

* Rediff:

My Name is Khan opened with a bang at the box office, earning a whopping Rs 85 crores (US $18m), but it saw a drop in business from Monday as the word of the mouth was not good enough to sustain the film.

* Stardust:

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest offering ‘My Name Is Khan’ collection at most of the theatres has fallen to as low as twenty percent of occupancy on Thursday (remember this is still first week).

The reports from almost all multiplexes and single screen theatres have indicated lack of interest on the part of audiences due to absence of entertainment value in the flick.

….Now, everybody is wondering if not for Shiv Sena, where the movie would have been at the box office.

    Two of my colleagues who both are great srk fan (one even mentioned before watching movie that if srk is there we can even tolerate boring movie) watched this movie yesterday and came out hugely disappointed. One of them mentioned that many people leave the theatre when about 25% of the movie was remaining. He himself was loitering about for purchasing popcorn during running movie just to kill boredom. Another colleague who is even a bigger srk fan mentioned that whosoever written this movie as crushing bore is absolutely correct. He was literally beating his head through out the movie. He even mentioned that srk should thank to shiv sena for good opening.

    Even media who has done some kind of advertisement for this film has slowly started accepted the fact. In one of the leading hindi daily, navbharat times, it is mentioned that some of the trde analysts have even gone to the extent of saying that srk should give one fourth of mnik’s weekend collection to shiv sena which made this otherwise cold film hot.

    Most likely, Muslims overseas will save this junk.

    absolutely nil story line. So, gets boring after first 15 mins. The last half hour is brainless. SRK should pay half their profits to Shiv Sena.

    Hope it fails badly everywhere.

      What is the story of this movie: forrest gump + post 9/11 muslim feel good + Kajol.
      Has SI reviewed “Tropic Thunder”? I have not seen it in the archives. You guys should review it especially Robert Downey Jr. who steals the show and his scene explaining actors playing retards in movies takes the cake.

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

      1. No, we’ve not seen Tropic Thunder though we’re aware of it. Will watch it sometime soon.

      We like Robert Downey, Jr. Seen him in Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes et al.

      2. As for My Name is Khan, all indications are that the Pak Loving Chutiya is groaning under the boots of Indians (in India that is, not here), whose brains are working for once.

    If you lived in the neighborhood, we’d have planted a wet, sloppy kiss on your cheeks (we mean your face cheeks) 😉 for being the bearer of such good tidings concerning the Pak Loving chutiya.

    Has been interesting and also informative so far. Good effort though not sure why you would be motivated to read it.

    SearchIndia.com Responds:

    1. SI Reads Quran 4 – Allah, Spiritual Father of Stalin

    2. You write above: Good effort though not sure why you would be motivated to read it.

    Read the piece in your above link…nothing out of the ordinary.

    And we do not believe this nonsense about the Pak Loving Chutiya not backing off in the standoff against Bal Thackeray.
