After all, the moment our eyes fell on Namaste beer in the cooler of our local liquor store this morning we made a grab for it.
Being of Indian origin and not reaching out for Namaste, hell, can one get more shameless or more unpatriotic than that?
Speak up chutiyas, we’re speaking to y’all. Turned mute or what, all of you?
No sire, we ain’t the sort to show the middle finger to Namaste.
Au contraire, bottle in hand we quickly headed to the counter and the White gal with her phony small-talk. The 1.94 pint bottle costs $7.49, by the way.
Through a strange coincidence the beer is from our state.
Oh no, not Tamil Nadu (hey, you can’t make beer out of that Cooum water).
If you want to know, Namaste is from the First State.

Brewed at Dogfish Head in Milton in the southern part of the First State, Namaste’s bottle proclaims that the beer is brewed with coriander, orange and lemongrass. Interesting. Continue reading »
