America’s worst rated cable company Comcast is rolling out a streaming service this week of old movies and TV shows.
Available only to Comcast customers, the service will be called Xfinity Streampix and offered on both TVs and mobile devices.
Streampix will offer content from multiple movie studios and programming providers including Disney-ABC Television Group, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Cookie Jar Entertainment.
Streampix will be included in Comcast’s Xfinity triple-play packages, Blast!+ and Blast! Extra video/high-speed Internet packages.
Comcast customers not subscribing to the company’s pricey packages will have to fork out $4.99 a month for the service.
