The distressing aspect of trashy Indian movies is not that they get made.
But that they find such eager takers.
If South Indians find solace in junk like Thupakki, North Indians find their salvation in trash like Dabanng 2, Rowdy Rathore and, lately in, Race 2.
Race 2, which debuted on January 25 in the U.S., has found eager takers from desis here although the film features only B-list stars like Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham.
The soi-disant action thriller hardly offers anything substantial by way of content or acting. Not surprising, considering Indians and class are antipodes.
