Indian Batsmen Crush Bangladesh’s Balls

Led by Virender Sehwag’s valiant 175, Indian batsmen made mincemeat of Bangladesh’ bowlers in the opening match of the 2011 ICC World Cup at Mirpur in Bangladesh.

At the end of the 50th over, India had notched up a respectable 370-4.

Sehwag was splendidly supported by youngster Virat Kohli, who scored a century in his first World Cup appearance.

Sehwag’s 175 came off 140 balls while Kohli’s 100 took just 83 balls.

Tough Road
Bangladesh has a daunting task ahead of it.

One might even take the risk and say that Bangladesh needs a miracle to win this match.

What say you schmucks. Does Bangladesh stand a chance?

This would really be difficult for Bangladesh to chase such a big number. If India wins, it would be a confidence booster for them.

Only when India gets to meet the other strong teams such as South africa, Australia , etc which wont miss a single chance to give a death blow to Indian team, stands the real test of India’s performance and patience..

Let’s not forget, looking at the last world cup history, that India gave a mammoth score against Bermuda [413/5], only to get chased out just after Round 1,
