Ford, GM, Chrysler Beg, Beg & Beg; Let ’em Die

Like the persistent decrepit beggars outside any Hindu Temple in India, the three Detroit Idiots are begging, begging and begging.

America’s struggling auto makers Ford, GM and Chrysler fell to the lowest point of their existence today when the CEOs of the three auto companies went before the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and shamelessly begged for $25 billion from the $700 billion TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) initiative to save their asses.

We say let them die.

The last time we checked, the governing ideology of our country has always been Capitalism. Not Bailoutism of idiot managements.

For decades, GM, Ford and Chrysler have put out junk cars that no one wants to buy.

For the last few years, they’ve mostly survived by offering hefty rebates, low interest or no interest loans, employee pricing and other gimmicks.

Do not give the three Detroit Idiots a dime and let the chips fall where they may.

Even Senator Christopher Dodd (D), Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and a supporter of assisting the auto companies, expressed his displeasure:

Their discomfort in coming to the Congress with hat in hand is only exceeded by the fact that they are seeking treatment for wounds that are to a large extent self-inflicted….No one can say they didn’t see this coming.

Assisting the greedy, incompetent swines on Wall Street was bad enough and to throw money at the three Detroit idiots would be nothing short of sinful.

While the auto companies blame their current plight on the credit crunch, we see their shoddy cars and years of mismanagement as the culprits.

GM, Ford and Chrysler together employ about 239,000 workers in the U.S.

We have never been great supporters of the Republican Party but in turning a Nelson’s Eye to the self-inflicted plight of the American auto-makers, we are with the GOP.

American auto makers have been on life support for a while and it’s time to pull the plug on these dodos.

Hmmm… as I said previously, within a year I believe there will be a great backlash against Obama. He has come out and said he is for bailing out these three companies, essentially because of the amount of jobs at stake. They’ll fail regardless of getting money or not, so any money given to them will just be wasted. Could this be the moment that the seeds were planted for the fatal mistake of Obama?

This is the costly quid that the unions are extracting for their quo of supporting and campaigning for Obama in the Presidential polls.

We made a similar argument in the last sentence of the post when we said: American auto makers have been on life support for a while and it’s time to pull the plug on these dodos

These American companies, show layoff as their trump. The claim, if they have to avoid laying off millions they need to be saved by govt. I think even if the govt. gives away the money they will loose it and better let them die straight away in the trauma.

We’re glad that Congress (at least, for now) has denied alms to the beggars (U.S. auto industry). Let the top honchos first get rid of their private jets & fat salaries.

read in the papers today….the CEOs arrived in their private jets (spending tens of thousands of dollars) to washington to beg for money….the congress rightly picked up this issue to whack their butt….
