And Now They are Six

We said six not sex.

The Government of India has named three more directors to the board of disgraced IT services provider Satyam taking the total directors on the company’s board to six.  

The new directors are:

* Tarun Das (Chief Mentor of CII)
* T. N. Manoharan (Former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)
* Suryakant Balkrishna Mainak (of LIC who has rich experience in finance, risk management, investment banking and secondary market operations)

Earlier, the Government of India had named HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh, former NASSCOM president Kiran Karnik and former SEBI member C Achuthan to the Satyam board.

    govt plans to modernise Indian Railways and big IT spends / contracts are in offing …Even if they could give one to Satyam ??

    One good thing about the board till now is NO POLITICIANS – No MP’s MLA’s ..former Chief Minister’s etc
