For the Whackos Who Whine About America

Sometimes it drives me nuts to see all those nut-jobs drone incessantly about how bad America is, that I don’t understand, I’m brainwashed etc etc etc.

To all the nay-sayers about Amreeka,  I offer the below links from just one day in the news cycle from around the world.

You schmucks don’t know how good we have it in America.

Could things be better in America?

Of course, any place can be better.

More so if we can get the Republicans out of office!

Here’s a brief list of news links from just a single day to demonstrate how life is nasty, brutish and short (thank you, Hobbes) outside America:

* 15-Year-Old Afghan Girl Beheaded For Rejecting Marriage Proposal

* Internet service goes out across Syria

* Russian whistleblower’s death in UK unexplained

* Bangladesh Factory owner: I didn’t know fire exits needed

* Indian Teacher jailed for raping six disabled kids

* Bombings in Iraq Kill at Least 48

* Eight killed in Karachi violence; police arrest 15 suspects

* Poet gets life in prison for criticising Emir

* Kareena in Fevicol Item Number in Dabanng 2

    Last link was epic 😛

Btw, just finished watching Pizza. It’s been a long time since I saw an interesting Tamil movie. Made on a meager budget of 1.5 cr, Pizza has a decent story and acting. The BGM was superb.

It seems that the director put some thought into the story and the result is quite interesting. Although the narrative is a bit erratic in some places, I felt it was a minor problem. The suspense was maintained till the very end.

Overall, it’s worth a watch. If you’re planning to see it, please don’t refer wiki.

Pizza was an outstanding (scary) movie with a brilliant twist!!

I liked this scene a lot. And this is just one of them!

Michael and Anu are in live-in. Now one morning Michael scolds Anu for not washing his clothes. Anu doesn’t say anything but starts crying.

Michael: What are you crying for? (And after sometime) See Anu, I’m scolding for your good only. You should be careful right? Have I ever been careless? Huh? Ever?

      Anu: I’m pregnant!

      SearchIndia.com Responds:

      Funny, but very true.

Well, a lot of pregnancies, I mean ‘young’ pregnancies are of the ‘careless’ variety.

Nobody told these young people about coitus interruptus or other forms of ‘careful’ calisthenics.

Mexico is 100 times worse than Afghanistan.

The sane Mexicans have already crossed the border into America, mostly illegally.
