To all those who think they’ve seen everything on the Internet, I have news for you.
The Internet is more than 123Telugu.com, BehindWoods.com, Apple.com, Bollywoodhungama.com, NYT.com or TimesofIndia.com.
Yes, the Internet is more than even SearchIndia.com. 😉
The Internet makes it clear that the world is not populated only by Average Joes.
There are quite a few Vile Joes lurking in every nook of the world and their mission is to inflict maximum pain on their victims.
Most Horrifying Web Site
This morning while reading an article in the popular digital media blog The Verge, I stumbled upon BestGore.com.
Curiosity being my vice, I did check out BestGore.com and it’s insanely horrifying.
The site is easily the most horrifying I’ve encountered in nearly two decades of web browsing
BestGore.com features videos and photos of Beheadings, Stonings, Skull-crackings, Hanging, Electrocution, Live Murders, Shootings and other grisly stuff that’s hard to imagine.
Some of the beheadings are done in a matter of fact manner and the comments that follow the killing videos are rather bizarre in themselves.
Best Gore makes no attempt to conceal the nature of its content:
Videos and images posted on Best Gore are bloody, gut wrenching, teeth grinding, offensive and upsetting
Let me warn you that the Best Gore site is most definitely not for the faint of heart and can be extremely traumatic.
The horrifying content featured on BestGore.com makes one want to purge the word civilization from all dictionaries.
Civilization is a destination and humanity is far from reaching there!
Best Gore Popular with Indians
I did a simple test to examine the reach of BestGore.com.
First, I checked BestGore.com’s Alexa ranking. The site has an Alexa ranking of 14,618 making it one of the most popular web sites in the world.
Then I checked the originating traffic by country to check out which countries send the most visitors to Best Gore.
I found that visitors from the U.S. topped the traffic to Best Gore. That’s not surprising because broadband is ubiquitous in the U.S. and most Americans spend several hours on the Internet daily, with the net replacing the TV as their favorite entertainment source.
Canada was second. Again, not surprising because Best Gore’s founder is Canadian and based in Edmonton.
But what surprised me was that India was fourth on the list of top traffic generators to BestGore.com, just below UK.
Should one be surprised with the popularity of BestGore.com among Indians or is it par for the course that Chutiyas get their highs from the sufferings of others.
I’m stumped for an answer!
Should you go to jail for posting video of a real murder?
