Back in the old days, her thighs first rocked Tamil Nadu and then went on to shake the rest of India after she moved to Bollywood.
They were like an earthquake measuring 8 on the Richter Scale.
Such was the power of those thighs that they were appositely crowned “Thunder Thighs” and many a febrile Tamil mind was lost in feverish fantasies of exploring the nooks and crevices of those cavernous pillars.
Mounted on a solid platform, those thighs were a beguiling universe in themselves.
Those inviting twin monuments were the sole solace of countless young men on dark, lonely nights under the stars in villages, in hovels of small towns and in palatial mansions in the big cities.
Indelibly etched on my impressionable, lust-filled, feverish mind, these aging eyes still remember the wanton display of those fleshy thighs in Pagalil Oru Iravu, Priya etc.
Upon glimpsing those luscious thighs I felt like Dr.Livingstone exploring the dark, virgin nooks of Africa.
Unless you hail from a different planet, you know the owner of the sobriquet Thunder Thighs is none other than Sridevi, now the mother of two teenage girls soon to enter the portals of Bollywood.
Today Her Royal Thighness Sridevi makes a demure comeback to the big screen with English Vinglish.
As I type this post, SI’s favorite reviewer is currently watching English Vinglish in Chicago.
And this is what Naveen had to say:
Sridevi after 15 years gap draws longer lines in the U.S. than Kamal Haasan in recent times.
The movie has received mostly favorable reviews and drawing good crowds in the U.S.
Given its off-beat story, I have no doubt it’s a million times more appealing than the trash put out by the likes of Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar etc.
SearchIndia.com will have the review of English Vinglish in the early hours of Saturday (U.S. Eastern Time).
