Alas, Kollywood is So Short of Men

Vishwaroopam Review – A Daring Attempt

Oh, what a shame!

No Men in Kollywood

When the Tamil Nadu government was raping Kamal Haasan and his film Vishwaroopam on specious, flimsy grounds, the Tamil film industry (Kollywood) proved it’s woefully short of men!

I can’t recollect seeing a single leading star coming to Kamal Haasan’s defense.

What a spineless lot!

Their courage is restricted just to the screen.

What are the so-called Superstars of Tamil film industry doing?

Sleeping or pretending to be asleep?

Except for Prakash Raj’s strong support, I have yet to see any other Tamil star come to Kamal Haasan’s defense.

If history teaches us anything, it’s that when you’re silent in the face of injustice to others, tomorrow you will meet the same fate! πŸ™

    This happened to VJ too.

No one supported him when he was in bad situation on releasing his film.

Thuppaki, Kavalan, Velayudham had such kind of problems. Even kamal did not support at that time.

But in Kamal’s issue at least Prakash Raj has entered in it…Kudos!

u can review an ordinary film like thuppaki quickly but u take more time to give a review for ulagay nayagan’s film…… Responds:

Sweetie, keep in mind the SI reviewer is driving 64KM home in -7ΒΊc weather, has to grab a bite and then start writing.

U r right. nobody thought of that, at least his long friend Rajini should have come out in support, then the ban would have been banned!! Responds:

Yes, if Rajini had opened his mouth the ban would have been banned or unbanned! πŸ˜‰

    But Rajini was sleeping! πŸ™

Thoongathey Thambi Thoongathey (don’t while away your time in slumber).

      Rajini is a pussy!

Look at how long he has been running away from answering questions related to him entering politics.

When the DTH fiasco was going on for ‘Vishwaroopam’, there were talks about selling his own ‘Kochadaiyan’ for a huge sum to DTH operators, but he chose to wait and watch the result of success of ‘Vishwaroopam’

Rajini was never a friend of kamal although it was kamal who always supported him…..

Rajini proved time and again that he is such a coward.

He is not worthy of entering politics!

Eagerly waiting for your review. Responds:

You write: Rajini proved time and again that he is such a coward.

Shivaji Rao Gaekwad (Rajinikanth) is an insult to the illustrious name of the valiant Shivaji.

    Review is by Naveen.

It’s strange that “humility” is considered to be a trait to be worshiped among the people.

I think most of TN are Rajni’s fans because of his so called “humility”. But as such he is not humble, politically correct, not an innovator/ideator.

    In short, a coward.

PS: There are people who hate Kamal because had slept with more women then they ever could have imagined. πŸ˜‰ They don’t realize that is not their concern. Responds:

You write: It’s strange that “humility” is considered to be a trait to be worshiped among the people. I think most of TN are Rajni’s fans because of his so called “humility”.

For some reason, your point reminds me of Churchill’s famous repartee on Clement Atlee: A modest man, who has much to be modest about.

F*ck the Superstars, Ultimate Stars, tharuthalai’s and thalavalis…. Responds:

    Just you watch!

If Vishwaroopam turns out to be a hit, all the Superstar, Ultimate Star, IlayaThalapathi jokers who’re quiet now will be the first to host felicitations for Kamal! πŸ™

    Waiting with bated breath! Responds:

    I guess another 45-minutes.

(Supposedly) Rajini’s handwritten letter on voicing opinions for Viswaroopam Responds:

Maybe, this fake Sivaji noticed people slamming him as a pussy and a coward for not voicing his support for Kamal Haasan and condemning the Tamil Nadu govt’s move in banning Vishawroopam!

Call someone a pussy and, voila, he suddenly starts acting like a Tiger. πŸ˜‰

    • boopalanj   January 25, 2013 at 3:56 am

Yep, he’s almost kneeling down and begging – “Muslim brothers, Leaving the stance that the film has to be entirely banned, when Kamal is back, please hold a discussion and make amendments in such a way that the story is not affected and allow this to be released.” Responds:

      Rajinikanth is a spineless chutiya.

Whoever knew that years of liquor and cigarettes can emasculate people! πŸ™

This chutiya Rajini who’d get into scrapes over minor issues now shies away from controversy because he has no balls to speak truth to power.
